Community Guidelines

Little Lights only works if it feels warm, real, and safe. These guidelines apply everywhere in the app — profiles, openers, messages, and events. Breaking them can get content removed or your account suspended.

Be a real person, honestly

• Be yourself. No impersonation, fake profiles, or pretending to be someone you're not.
• Use a real photo of you and accurate details.

Be kind and respectful

• No harassment, bullying, threats, or hate based on who someone is.
• No sexual harassment or unwanted sexual content.
• A "no" — or no reply — is an answer. Don't pressure people.

Keep it safe

• No content that's illegal, violent, or exploits anyone. Nothing involving minors, ever.
• Never send or ask for money. No one here should ask you for money, gift cards, crypto, wire transfers, or bank, card, or account details — and don't ask others. No "investment opportunities," trading tips, or get-rich schemes. Anyone doing this is scamming, and you can report them. You're free to swap numbers or move to another app once you both want to — just never send money to someone you just met.
• No scams, spam, solicitation, or promoting your business or cause to people who didn't ask.
• Don't share other people's private information, or your own sensitive information you wouldn't want public.

Meeting in person

• Meet in public the first time, tell a friend where you'll be, and trust your instincts.
• Treat people the way you'd want to be treated when you show up.
• If someone makes you uncomfortable, you can block and report them.

Reporting & enforcement

If you see something that breaks these rules, use the block and report tools in the app, or email josh@arealhumanbeing.co. We review reports and flag risky messages. Depending on what happened, we may warn you (which you'll need to acknowledge), suspend your account, or remove it; repeated or serious violations lead to removal. If your account is suspended and you think it was a mistake, you can appeal right from the app. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.
